Research Abstract |
In this study, new system for quantitative analysis of chest CT images in pulmonary diseases was developed. Using CT images in chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases, nontuberculosis mycobacterial diseases, and interstitial lung diseases, structural analysis and model simulation were performed to investigate the mechanism of progressive lung lesions, heterogeneity of airway lesions, and relationship between lung diseases and extra-pulmonary lesions.
