Research Abstract |
We clarified that administration of low serum cultured adipose derived mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) showed therapeutic effect on animal models including rat anti-GBM glomerulonephritis and mouse systemic sclerosis. We demonstrated that low serum cultured adipose derived MSCs may exert immnosuppressive effect by inducing M2 macrophages. We also found that low serum cultured adipose derived MSCs did not promote malignant tumorigenesis and administration of 7×10^7/kg cells was safe.
