Research Abstract |
Podip2, a regulator for NADPH oxidase, is localized to glomerular cells, and epithelium of cortical and modularly collecting ducts. Its expression is upregulated in a diabetic animal model according to age. Contrary, it is downregulated in a hypertensive animal model. Transforming growth factor-β stimulates its expression in a cell culture system.
