| Research Abstract |
To determine the feasibility and image quality of intravenous ultrasonography, we conducted an animal experiment using five swine. Intravenous ultrasonography in hepatic veins of five swine was feasible. Intravenous ultrasonography in renal veins of two swine was also feasible. Intravenous ultrasonography demonstrated the structures within scanning range of intravenous ultrasonography more clearly than conventional ultrasonography.
