Research Abstract |
In this study, volatile anesthetics induced thymocyte apoptosis and reduced mitochindrial membrane potential in thymocytes dose- and time-dependently. In addition, the reduction of mitochondrial membrane potential preceded the induction of thymocyte apoptosis. Probably, reduction of mitochondrial membrane potential in thymocytes is one of the initial events.
