Research Abstract |
We established clonal cell lines of periodontal ligament cells derived from human deciduous teeth immortalized by hTERT gene transfer. SH 9 cells showed the ability of differentiation into both osteoblasts and adipocytes. Stromal cell-derived factor-1α(SDF-1) has important roles in migration of mesenchymal stem cells and endothelial progenitor cells. We reported that SDF-1 expression in SH 9 cells was regulated by various cytokines.
