Research Abstract |
Nikkei Brazilian mothers residing in Japan face various difficulties in using institutions that provide healthcare services for mothers and children. We offered those mothers private counseling and found out a common issue of the difficulties as well as problems at each institution. 5 institutions including Maternity Clinic, City Hall, Health Center, Pediatric department, and Nursery were playing important role in building systems and providing maternal and child healthcare services. In order to reduce difficulties of Nikkei Brazilian mothers 5 major institutions need to have functional role and work together in better collaboration.
