Research Abstract |
Micro ion beam irradiation in liquid was enabled using a tapered glass capillary with a lid. We have shown new applications of irradiation at solid-liquid interface such as etching of PET at room temperature, coting of organic thin films by polymerization and formation of metallic nanoparticles and their supporting at material surface.
