Research Abstract |
We have developed methods to extract slow collective motions using wavelet transformation, to find a low-dimensional description of these collective motions and to analyze them using invariant manifolds in the phase space. We have applied these methods to numerical data obtained by molecular dynamics simulation, and are revealing how molecular functions are related to collective motions of biomolecules.
