Research Abstract |
Positrons, anti-particles of electrons, are utilized as a novel surface analytical method. Formation of a positron microprobe has been developed and micro positron-induced Auger electron spectrometer has been installed. The chemical analysis of the Cu-coupled defects in Fe-Cu alloys was carried out using a positron microprobe.
