Research Abstract |
To characterize gene function effectively, we tried to develop reverse genetic approaches, namely conditional knock-out and generation of subtle mutations by homologous recombination-mediated gene targeting and gene tagging employing endogenous nDart1-related DNA transposons. We also characterized insertion mutants isolated by gene targeting and tagging.
