Research Abstract |
Mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) in mammalian cells exists as multiple copies, which are regulated by various genetic and environmental factors. In this study, we analyzed the regulatory effect of mitochondrial transcription factor A (Tfam) and observed that its overexpression improves the symptoms of mitochondrial deficiency in a mouse model.
