Research Abstract

Gas chromatograph system for determining marine H2 concentration was developed. Measured H2 concentrations of tap water of R/V Hakuho-maru and Mirai were significantly higher than those of seawater sample taken by Niskin samplers, suggesting H2 contamination within the tap water systems.
