Lawrence's Movements in European Historyand his other texts written during the First World War("The Thimble,""Wintry Peacock,""The Blind Man,""Tickets Please," The Ladybird), also comparing them to A School History of Englandby Rudyard Kipling, A Short History of Englandby G. K. Chesterton and The Outline of Historyby H. G. Wells.
