Research Abstract |
We investigated synthesis and characterization of amorphous compounds containing fused carbazole moieties. Upon cooling to room temperature, the moieties formed a transparent glass via a supercooled liquid state. Furthermore, amorphous films were prepared by spin coating onto a substrate. We found these compounds exhibit photo and electrochemical properties for application of photoelectric conversion systems.
