Research Abstract |
We demonstrated that the genetic polymorphisms of nuclear receptors, pregnane X receptor and hepatocyte nuclear factor 4α, could affect the carbamazepine disposition and the CYP3A activity(i. e., the plasma 4β-hydroxycholesterol concentrations) in Japanese patients with epilepsy and healthy volunteers
