Research Abstract |
This study aimed to address the role of cellular prion protein(PrPC) in amyloid-beta(Aβ) efflux via blood brain barrier. PrPC knockdown did not affect Aβ transport although other transporters(low density lipoprotein related protein 1 and P-glycoprotein) changed Aβ transport.
