Research Abstract |
A question of long-standing to cardiac physiologists is whether E-C coupling VO_2 will be really independent of preload. To answer the question, we tried to develop the simultaneous real-time measurement system for myocardial mechanoenergetics and calcium dynamics in the blood-perfused excised heart preparations using G-CaMP-expressed transgenic rats.
