Research Abstract |
Immunohistochemical analysis with an SNX5-specific mAb established in this study consistently demonstrated the preferential expression of SNX5 in Papillary thyroid carcinoma cell. More interestingly, epithelial cells expressing excess SNX5 showed high levels of Caspase-2. Collectively further investigations focusing on the unique modality of SNX5 could clarify its unidentified mechanism and improve our understanding of the tumor cell biology of thyroid gland malignancies
