Research Abstract |
We generated gastric inhibitory polypeptide(GIP) receptor conditional knockout mice, and obtained pancreatic beta-cell specific GIP receptor knockout mice. These models enable us to investigate the roles of GIP on pancreatic islet endocrine cells in obesity and diabetes directly.
