Research Abstract |
The present study, including50patients with schizophrenia, demonstrated that antipsychotic plasma concentrations of risperidone and its active moiety can be predicted before performing an actual dosage change, using population pharmacokinetic techniques. These findings suggest that individualized dosing with the measurement of antipsychotic plasma concentrations could become a real clinical application in the management of schizophrenia.
