Research Abstract

We could make composite tissue allo-transplantation model using BN rat and LEW rat. Using this model, we assessed the effect of photopheresis to rejection reaction after composite tissue allo-transplantation, using clinical observation, pathological examination, and mixed lymphocyte reaction assay. As the result of our study, we could prove that photopheresis can suppress the rejection reaction after composite tissue allo-transplantation.
