Research Abstract |
I performed cross trunk nerve grafting in rats between right thoracodorsal nerve to left using right femoral nerve. At the recipient site I performed end-to-end anastomoses between the graft and distal stump of the left thoracodorsal nerve. At the donor site the graft was anastomosed the right thracodorsal nerve. I compared end-to-end anastomosis with end-to-side anastomosis. I count regenerating nerve axons. End-to-end anastomosis was most effective.
