Research Abstract |
The experimental results using rat flap model showed that the change in blood flow of a pedicled island flap results in the change in bio-electrical-impedance. Bio-impedance analysis(BIA) can be used for microsurgical flap monitoring. In a clinical case, the monitoring system using BIA could find out a thrombosis.
