Research Abstract |
This study clarifies interaction between inflammatory cytokine and plasmin-induced COX-2 pathways in human dental pulp cells. As a result, plasmin provoked COX-2 production via Ca/calcineurin/NFAT pathways. However, inflammatory cytokine had little or no effect on COX-2 mRNA expression by plasmin.
