Research Abstract |
CD19 knockout mouse lack regulatory B cell. Therefore, this mouse is good tool for investigating regulatory B cell. We transferred CD19 knockout B10. D2 bone marrow into Balb/c recipient mice. These mice developed mild sclerodermatous GVHD comparing wildtype mice. While CD19 knockout Balb/c recipient mice which were transferred B10. D2 bone marrow were developed more severe sclerodermatous GVHD than that of wild type mice. These results indicate regulatory B cell is more critical for recipient immune response.
