Research Abstract

Administration of incretin(human GLP-1 analog) or insulin signal peptide L7-24 with CFA improved diabetes in newly diabetic NOD mice. Administration of CFA with or without incretin delayed diabetes onset in diabetes-accelerating NY8. 3 NOD mice. These results suggested that immune tolerance in type 1 diabetes might be induced by incretin or insulin signal peptide L7-24 with CFA.
