Research Abstract

We focused on Hox genes, which have never been reported to be included in tooth development. The expression patterns of Hox genes in developing tooth germ were determined by in situ hybridization assays. As a result, 9 of 32 analyzed genes showed spatial specific expression patterns in developing tooth.
