Research Abstract

The results of the questionnaire survey obtained from all nursing schools in Japan showed nursing informatics offered as an independen course at 43nursing schools. Lecture contents included diverse keywords other than nursing informatics such as basic statistics and survey methods. Researchers ofnursing informatics suggested not only general information literacy but also information management and thinking process in nursingwere necessary for undergraduate students in nursing.
