Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、認知心理学における行動変容の知見に、五感情報処理技術・ＶＲ、メディアコンテンツの分野の先端技術を応用することで、クロスモーダル知覚による行動変容の知見の蓄積と体系化・理論化・高度化を行うとともに、身体知覚・情動・行動のクロスモーダルな変化によって身体・認知能力を変化させる人間拡張技術の基盤を確立する。

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

近年の多感覚情報提示技術の進歩により、クロスモーダル知覚の研究は新たな局面を迎えつつある。特に今までに体験したことのないクロスモーダル相互作用によって、感覚や知覚が変化するのみならず、より高次の身体知覚や情動にも変化が起こり、その結果として行動や意思決定にも変化が現れることが明らかになってきた。本研究では、認知心理学における行動変容の知見に、五感情報処理技術・ＶＲ、メディアコンテンツの分野の先端技術を応用することで、クロスモーダル知覚による行動変容の知見の蓄積と体系化・理論化・高度化を行うとともに、身体知覚・情動・行動のクロスモーダルな変化によって身体・認知能力を変化させる人間拡張技術の基盤を確立することを目的としている。

2022年度に研究実施場所の契約延長に追加の要件が必要であることが明らかになり、行動実験・生理計測実験の実施の一部を2023年度に延期して行うことが必要になったものの、既存設備の活用や研究方法の調整などにより、色と形の連合およびその発達過程の研究、多感覚統合と感情の関係性に深く関係すると考えられる内受容感覚の研究（およびその発達研究）、他者の知覚による行動変容や生理的反応の変化の研究などの研究を進めた。また、色と形のインタラクションが視覚的弁別に与える影響に関する研究などに関しては学術論文として発表し、他者の模倣に関する研究、非接触タッチパネル操作者の手の表現によるユーザビリティへの影響などは学会などで発表を行った。

Reason

2022年度に研究実施場所の契約延長に追加の要件が必要であることが明らかになり、行動実験・生理計測実験の実施の一部を2023年度に延期して行うことが必要になったものの、既存設備の活用により、研究活動自体はおおむね順調に進展し成果も出ている。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

前年度と比較して、Covid-19の感染拡大が収束傾向にあると期待されるため、対面での実験を段階的に再開するが、その場合でも柔軟な変更も想定し、十分に注意した上で行う。
