Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、①XAFS分析に先立つ蛍光X線（XRF）マッピングの高速化と、②同位体比分析必要試料量の2桁減少という本研究で鍵となる2つの基盤技術を確立し、③ペルム紀末から三畳紀にかけての遠洋域堆積岩および遠洋海山炭酸塩岩の同位体比分析と放射光XAFS分析を高時間分解能で行い、ペルム紀末大量絶滅イベント時の環境変動とその回復過程を解明する。
