Outline of Research at the Start

複雑な構造をしている医薬品などの合成プロセスに酵素反応を導入するために、(1)酵素探索、(2)酵素最適化、(3)医薬品合成への酵素反応の導入を協奏的に進行させる。我々が開発したINTMSAlignソフトウエアなどを中心とするデジタル技術をあらゆる部分で普及・実装し、「タンパク質・酵素の構造と機能・性質との相関」という未知の研究領域を開拓し、酵素工学の社会実装を可能にする。もって、21世紀の酵素工学および医薬品産業が求める医薬品合成の効率化およびグリーン化を先導する。
