| Outline of Research at the Start |
モモにおいて，独自に収集したモモ遺伝資源を活用し，モモ品種系統を広くカバーする数品種由来の新規参照ゲノムと，これを基にした高精度のpan-genomeデータベースを構築する．さらに，構築したpan-genomeを利用して，重要形質（品質，熟期，生理障害，病害抵抗性）の分離集団や枝変わり品種の解析を試み，その結果をデータベースの最適化に反映させる．これらより，汎用性の高いモモのゲノムデータベースを提供するとともに，重要形質を制御する未発見の遺伝子を特定することを試みる．
