Outline of Research at the Start

幹細胞生物学の現場と人文科学研究が協働することによって、1）科学や技術を扱ってきた文学や映像・漫画の分析を行い一般社会の生命科学への意識を探る、2）実際に再生・発生学研究やバイオアートを用いて題材を創出し、人工知能による支援システムを用いて社会との対話を行う。これらの活動を行うことによって、「ヒトの生命」のイメージについての考察を行うとともに、未来の動向を予測し（フォーキャスト）、ポップカルチャーを用いる科学と社会が協働し新たな生命像を構築する方法論を探る。
