古写本に用いられている平仮名の字母のN-gram分析をおこない、書写者の仮名字母の組み合わせの傾向を明らかにすることを目的とする。特に、源氏物語の定家本を軸にして、定家本の字母の用いられ方から、書写者の仮名字母の組み合わせの傾向を明らかにしていく。

源氏物語の古写本、特に定家監督書写本の平仮名の字母の分析をおこなった。
新出定家本若紫巻を分析し、その特徴について考察した。ほかの定家自筆本（『更級日記』『土佐日記』）とは共通するところ、相違点のあらいだしをおこなった。
若紫巻に用いられる、特有な字母の使い方が判明した。
具体的には、若紫巻では、特定の助詞に、特定の字母を用いるなどの特徴があり、それは定家自筆本には見られない。このことから、定家はその監督本を作成するさいには、その書写者の癖までには言及しなかったと考えられる。以上のことは論文にまとめ、投稿審査中である。

Reason
伏見天皇本若紫巻の分析を終え、定家監督書写本となる若紫巻の分析を終えている。ただし、ほかの定家本の分析はこれからおこなう予定である。

伏見天皇本若紫巻と定家監督本若紫巻との比較検討や、他の巻の定家監督本の分析をすすめていきたい。
今のところ、花散里巻の定家本の分析などをしているが、複製本での分析のため、原典の閲覧を考えている。
