本研究の遂行は，留学キャリア達成に焦点を当てた研究として先駆的性質をもつとともに，不適応要因を多角的・多層的観点から分析し，開発教材や支援活動を教育現場に導入・展開する実証的・実践的研究である。留学キャリア形成の修学支援システムを国別教育プログラムをモデル構築し，グローバル人材教育の展開に資するものである。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This research identifies the challenges faced by international students, drawing upon interviews conducted at Kushiro, Hachinohe, Tsuyama, and Kagawa KOSENs, and supplemented by national surveys on international dormitories. It clarifies the factors and circumstances that hinder student adaptation. Furthermore, the study establishes and evaluates country-specific educational program models designed to support international students in their career development. These models include multicultural education, academic support, career guidance, tutor training, and specialized counseling systems.
Kagawa KOSEN, in particular, plays a leading role in developing study support workshops and training programs for Japanese tutors, which include components such as intercultural communication, peer support, and Easy Japanese. The project integrates these practices to create and implement Japanese language teaching materials.
