| Outline of Research at the Start |
本研究では若年期及び老年期における不確実性を考慮した出生率内生化モデルを設定し分析することによって、所得や政策の信ぴょう性などの不確実性が出生率にどのような影響を与えるかを明らかにする。具体的な分析手法としては、経済モデルを解析的に分析することを通じて長期的な視点での考察を行うと同時にシミュレーション分析を行うことを通じて短期的な視点での考察を行う。
本研究によって明らかにされる点は下記の通りである。
①不確実性を考慮した出生率内生化モデルの定性的・定量的性質
②少子化対策と矛盾しない老年世代に対する政策のあり方

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
There are various possible causes of declining fertility, but this study aims to clarify the relationship between income uncertainty and low fertility. The analysis reveals that, rather than traditional child-rearing support policies centered on benefits such as child allowances, what is truly needed to address the declining birthrate are policies that reduce future income uncertainty and ensure stable income over the long term.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
従来の育児支援政策とは異なる形での政策が少子化対策となることを示した意義は大きいと考えられる。従来の育児支援政策とは児童手当など子どもに対して給付される政策を指している。幼保無償化についても同様である。すなわち、子どもを育てる費用の低下をもたらす政策が従来の育児支援政策である。このような政策ではなく、子育て世代が安定的な所得を得ることができる環境を整える、または、失業などの負の所得ショックに対し、負の所得ショックを和らげることができるような給付の存在こそが少子化対策として必要であることを経済モデルを用いて示した。その意義は大きいと考えられる。
