Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、経済活動を行う企業に関わる情報開示を拡充させることが、情報の利用者など諸利害関係者、および情報の作成者（企業・監査人）、そして経済活動にとって、ベネフィットしかないのか、コストも存在するのか、ベネフィットがコストよりも多いのかという問題意識の下、研究を行うものである。具体的には、企業と関わる情報パッケージの一部分である監査報告書の開示内容の拡大する動向・現状を分析し、その影響について、理論的・実証的に分析を行おうとするものである。

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究は、経済活動を行う企業に関わる情報開示を拡充させることが、情報の利用者など諸利害関係者、および情報の作成者（企業・監査人）、そして経済活動にとって、ベネフィットしかないのか、コストも存在するのか、ベネフィットがコストよりも多いのかという問題意識の下、研究を行うものである。具体的には、日本企業が開示する監査報告書の開示拡大：KAM記載の適用（「監査基準」改訂により監査報告書の記載項目に「監査上の主要な検討事項」（Key Audit Matters；KAMと略す）記載が加えられ；2018-2019年度早期適用；2020年度より強制適用）という財務報告上のビッグ・イベントにおける情報利用者となる諸利害関係者、情報作成者となる企業・監査人のベネフィット・コストに焦点を絞り、KAM記載の任意適用・強制適用がもたらす財務報告の質への影響；企業が負担するコストおよび市場への経済的影響を実証的に検証する。2023年度には、具体的に、データ収集・分析およびワーキングペーパー（非公開）の作成を行った。ただし、フランス・ストラスブール大学でのセミナーで、当該研究成果の研究発表を行った。今年度の研究実績については、研究成果の部にご参照されたい。
