日本の人口・家族政策論に関する政策文書を主な分析対象として、1990年代に至るまでの日本の人口・家族政策の政策論議におけるアンコンシャス・バイアス（性差に基づく）の存在を明らかにし、それを福祉国家の国際比較において“家族主義的”と特徴づけられる日本型福祉国家の特性（歴史性）をめぐる議論、アンコンシャス・バイアスの克服のための多角的な議論に組み込むことで、人口・家族政策をめぐる先行研究の蓄積に深みを与える。

| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
日本における人口・家族政策の政策論議のなかで、社会が求める女性像がどのように作り上げられていったかについて検討した。具体的には、主要な役割を果たした人物に焦点を当てながら日本の人口・家族政策の政策について男性中心で審議されてきたことや女性も含めて社会全体において固定的な性別役割分担意識やアンコンシャス・バイアスが存在していたことを指摘するべく、大学図書館、公共図書館で文献資料の収集を行い、その成果について研究発表と論文執筆に取り組んだ。
