Outline of Research at the Start	本研究課題は、最新の研究に基づいたアメリカ高等教育史通史の翻訳出版を行ったうえで、これを基に近年（2008年以降）のアメリカ高等教育史研究のレビューを行うことで、これまで研究や政策形成の前提となってきたアメリカ高等教育（史）観を見直し、これらの質の向上に資するような知見を提供することを目的とする。
