Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は，広く水環境中で検出され生態系への影響が危惧される様々な芳香族化合物を含む化学物質に対して特異的に高い吸着・濃縮作用を有する微生物を探索し，下排水処理系の活性汚泥に安定的に導入することで，初期吸着を強化すると共に，基質の濃縮による分解菌との相互作用によって分解除去効果をも促進させ，活性汚泥による浄化機能を向上させる手法を開発する。
