Outline of Research at the Start	真核細胞では、膜で覆われた細胞内小器官に加えて、種々の膜のない区画（コンパートメント）が物質の変換や貯蔵を行う場としての機能を分担する。これらのコンパートメントは、タンパク質や核酸が集合することで形成され、生体分子凝縮体などと呼ばれるが、その構成や性質は多様である。本研究では、植物細胞において、タンパク質の凝集性に関与する因子を特定するとともに、非膜系コンパートメントの形成能や性質の決定因子を明らかにする。また、非膜系コンパートメントの大きさや性質などを自在にデザインするために必要な知見や、創出した非膜系コンパートメントに新たな機能を付与するための知見を取得する。
