Outline of Research at the Start	年々患者数が増加している非アルコール性脂肪肝炎（NASH）は、生活習慣の乱れなどを背景とした脂肪肝から、炎症が引き起こされる疾患であり、やがて線維化や肝ガンに至る。糖代謝を担うペントースリン酸経路では、脂質合成や抗酸化に必要な還元性物質NADPHが産生される。本研究では、肝臓におけるペントースリン酸経路の副経路について全容を解明し、各酵素がNASHの病態進展に関与しているかどうかを検証する。
