Outline of Research at the Start

SDGs対応のエネルギー利用効率が高い不斉C-C結合形成反応プロセスの実現には、穏和な条件下、高い活性を示す環境調和型不斉触媒の創製が鍵となる。これまで本申請者は、多核金属触媒や有機触媒等の多機能不斉触媒の開発に成功している。同一触媒骨格に配置した複数の反応基質活性化ユニットによる多点配向制御機能が高活性・高選択性発現に重要な役割を担うことが明らかとなっている。本研究では、多機能不斉触媒開発で蓄積したデータを活用し、触媒機能の集積化と、骨格修飾や光照射等の外部刺激による新規活性化により、C-C結合形成反応を効率的に促進する環境低負荷な卑金属複合不斉触媒を開発し、精密有機合成への応用を試みる。

Outline of Final Research Achievements

To date, our group has succeeded in developing multifunctional catalysts such as dinuclear metal catalysts and metal-free organocatalysts. In this study, we reintegrated multiple activation units, which are important for the expression of high activity and high selectivity in reaction promotion, and by combining them with photoactivation, we have realized high-order reaction control. As a result, we have succeeded in developing many green and newly carbon-carbon bond-forming reactions.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

これまで開発してきたレドックス触媒や酸塩基有機触媒を再デザイン・再集積化し、さらに光照射等の非接触型活性化法と組み合わせることで、安価で活性が低い卑金属錯体を用いても、穏和な条件下にて炭素-炭素結合形成反応を効率的に促進可能なことを証明した。これら卑金属触媒の毒性は極めて低く、今後医薬資源合成への応用が期待される。
