Outline of Research at the Start	統合失調症の早期発見につながる新規バイオマーカーとして唾液中アディポネクチン濃度を指標とした早期診断法の開発を目的とした。本研究は唾液を検体として用いることで、より非侵襲的に無痛的に採取でき、患者への負担も少なく、臨床上有用であると考えられる。このことは、本研究が統合失調症の新規バイオマーカー開発を行う上で、特筆すべき独自性・創造性を有している。本研究により、新規の簡便に測定可能な統合失調症バイオマーカーを発見し、最終的には精神疾患における新しい早期診断法を開拓することで早期治療につながり患者のQOL向上が期待できる。
