Outline of Research at the Start

潰瘍性大腸炎（UC）は大腸における炎症性細胞の浸潤、連続性のびらんなどを生じる炎症性腸疾患（IBD）である。原因不明の難治性疾患であり、依然、発症メカニズムの詳細な理解と新規の治療標的が求められている。本研究は、マウス疾患モデルや細菌叢についての独自の検討から、ヒトにおける腸炎発症に重要な環境因子について探索を行うトランスレーショナルリサーチである。
