Outline of Research at the Start

若年マウスおよび老齢マウスに全脳照射（8Gy程度）を実施し、その当日～5日間連日にニカラベン（N,N‘-プロピレンジニコチンアミド）を腹腔内投与する。全脳照射後３か月後、６か月後、１２か月後に脳MRIおよび行動テストにて脳の経時的な発達程度を調査し、ニカラベンによる中枢神経に対する放射線防護効果を明らかにする。また、同時期に経時的な血清サイトカインの変化、最終的な病理学的に各群の比較を行い、ニカラベンによる放射線防護効果の機序を検討する。
