Outline of Research at the Start

急性心筋梗塞再灌流療法前に、患者の上肢を血圧計のマンシェットを用いて5分間駆血・5分間解除を4回繰り返す手技 (remote ischemic conditioning (RIC): 遠隔虚血コンディショニング) による心筋保護作用は、内在性でかつ最強の心筋保護因子である虚血プレコンディショニングと同様のメカニズムが考えられていることから、安価で繰り返し行うことで効果的な心不全治療法になりうると考えられる。そこで本研究は、前臨床基礎研究として、詳細な血行動態の評価が可能な大動物心不全モデルにおいて、RICの心不全発症・進展抑止および心不全改善効果の立証することで新しい心不全治療の開発を行う。
