２０２２年度は研究協力施設の外傷患者データを用いた、せん妄予測モデルの外部検証を行い、必要に応じてモデルの再構築をおこなう。また、研究代表施設の外傷患者に対する長期認知機能予後追跡を開始するために、患者組み込みを開始する。
２０２３年度、２０２４年度は、開発・再構築を行ったせん妄予測モデルの実用化に向けて、研究代表施設・協力施設において前向き観察研究での検証を行う。またこれに並列して、外傷患者の入院中のせん妄の有無によって、退院後の長期的認知機能予後がどのように変遷するかを追跡調査する。この調査は２０２５年度にかけて行う。
