Outline of Research at the Start

外傷は若年の死因第１位であり、救命率向上が望まれている。近年TAE(経カテーテル的動脈塞栓術)は致死的外傷に対しても決定的な止血治療として重要度が高まっている。最新研究で外傷出血性ショックの循環補助に使用される血管収縮薬が死亡率上昇に関連することが示されたが、その理由は未解明であった。血管収縮薬には過剰な動脈収縮によりTAE手技自体を阻害するデメリットが潜在する。本研究の目的は、血管収縮薬作用下における外傷TAEの塞栓効果と安全性を大型動物実験で検証することである。
